Our FIC Chemistry facility provides analytical chemistry and mass spectrometry to support FIC clients’ needs and requests. This location has specialized in research quality, mass spectrometry, analysis and data interpretation for over 30 years.
Examples of the type of services provided or issues addressed include, but are not limited to:
- Detection of chemical migration in package and product, such as plasticizers
- Determination of organic contaminants in products
- Identification of degradants of naturally occurring and added compounds to packages and products
- Validation of claimed amounts of added compounds such as vitamins
