Joseph became a full-time member of FIC in 2016, but he worked as a student employee and intern in the Mass Spectrometry Facility since 2009. As a food scientist and chemist, his responsibilities include conducting analytical tests for clients spanning from food packaging migration testing to flavor deformulation and beyond. He is responsible for interacting with customers and ensuring that their projects are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
Joseph earned a B.S. in Food Science from Rutgers in 2016 and an M.S. in Food Science with a focus on food chemistry from Rutgers in 2019.
