Bin joined the Center for Advanced Food Technology in 1998 that later became part of FIC. He prepares samples for analyses to determine the identities and quantities of each individual component in them.
Bin got his BSc. Hon. at the University of Malaya in 1967, his M.S. in 1971 and Ph.D. in 1977 in “Insect Toxicology” at the University of Hawaii. He came to Rutgers in 1977 for his Post.Doc. Research at Rutgers Entomology Dept. in 1977 and joined the Mosquito Control Unit at Rutgers in 1979. He left in 1988 to join a private company, Innovative Scientific Services, Inc. in Highland Park, NJ. He came back to Rutgers as an intern of Dr. Tom Hartman’s Mass Spectrometry Facility in 1996.
