Shared-Use Facility

The shared-use facility is comprised of four processing areas, in which products are manufactured directly by the client or a designate of their company.  Fees for processing are dependent on product composition, the required equipment and the services necessary to support production.  Facility rental can be as minimal as one day and can range to several months. Some of the components of the shared-used processing area include:

  1. Refrigerated Foods Processing
    1. Refrigeration controlled facilities for fresh-cut produce, or value-added meat, poultry or seafood products
  2. Beverages and Hot Processing
    1. Processing equipment for Beverages, Soups, Sauces, Stews, Salsas, Jams and Jelly, Grilled and Roasted Vegetables, and Prepared Entrees
    2. Bottling line that allows for automated production
  3. Bakery and Dry Processing
    1. Processing equipment for Pies, Breads, Cookies, and Confectionery products
  4. Cold Assembly/Clean Room
    1. Packaging of perishable products in HEPA-filtered clean room
  5. Blast Chilling and Freezing
  6. Refrigerated, Frozen & Ambient Storage
